Students have vision and hearing screened at Early Childhood Screening prior to kindergarten entrance. Kindergarten students who have not had vision and hearing screening during the 6 months prior to kindergarten will be screened during the kindergarten year.
- Vision and hearing screening will be done in first grade.
- Vision screening will be done in fifth and seventh grades.
Parents who are concerned about their child's vision or hearing are encouraged to contact their school nurse and ask to have their child screened.
